The Silesian Castle of Art and Enterprise has been operating as a municipal body since 2005 in the small town of Cieszyn, divided by the Polish and Czech border.
According to designers and journalists, it's the most interesting institution in Poland promoting design; EU funding also plays a crucial role, as does a woman's determination and focused determination. The Castle owes its present form to courage -- not just to dream, but also to realise those dreams -- pragmatically.
